The expert panel is moderated by SAC-M founding member and former UN Special Rapporteur on Myanmar, Yanghee Lee. The panellists are Marzuki Darusman, SAC-M founding member and former Chair of the UN Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Myanmar, Aung Myo Min, Minister of Human Rights for the National Unity Government, and Khin Sandar of the General Strike Coordinating Body of the Spring Revolution.

The panel provide an update on the COVID-19 crisis in Myanmar and discuss the implications for Myanmar of recent developments within ASEAN and at the UN, before mapping a potential path forward for the democracy movement and an end to the military-made humanitarian crises gripping the country. There is then an audience Q&A following the panel discussion.
